A Letter from a Friend
*This letter was sent to me by a friend of mine. Captivating as I see it, I hope it would somehow affect you readers as well, the way it affected me.. ^^*
Happy 19th Birthday, Cheeno!
Indeed, today is a time to celebrate your 19th year of existence here on Earth – a great opportunity and milestone that anybody has a chance to achieve. Your natal day comes only once a year; thus, you deserve all the happiness and gratefulness that you are feeling as of the moment.
Consequently, it is very worthwhile to look back at your own past memorable experiences that led you to this whole new chapter of your life. These experiences molded you firmly and superbly into a fabulous and fantastic person that you are right now. These personal encounters helped and guided you in every step of the way, leading you to grasp your present principles and judgments. And best of all, these situations made you realize that life itself is such a vividly colorful experience, which is packed with various captivating moments.
Sure enough, your 6940 life days won’t be complete without the presence of such people who have made your life precious and surreal. Through them, you became what you are, upon which the world can really be proud of.
First and most importantly, we should thank God, the Almighty Father, for giving you the great and viable opportunity to live in this majestic world. With His loving presence, you have been given full guidance and support amidst the differences and trials that you’ve faced through the years. The blessings and talents that He has showered upon you sustained you so well in order for you to become a better person each day.
Next, we must also thank your parents. Without them, you can’t ever be present here on earth, enjoying everything that it has to offer. Your parents were your primary precursors in order to bravely face the world in reality. Their care and affection propelled you to do your tasks with inspiration.
We have to thank also the people whom you’ve shared moments intimately, particularly your siblings, relatives, neighbors, friends, classmates, and clanmates. Through them, every aspect of your life has been so colorful and vibrant in many ways. With their company, you were able to venture onto new dimensions and explore things that cannot be acquired alone.
Definitely, this new life period is going to unfold another set of experiences for you to undertake. Each day would be like any other ordinary day, but with more lessons to ponder and more moments to remember. It is expected that a lot of significant things are about to happen within the next 365 days, including your college graduation, a doorway to yet another important milestone of your life. Nevertheless, with those people that I’ve mentioned earlier, realizing and achieving every terrific goal is never impossible.
This letter won’t be complete without revealing my wishes and aspirations for you. First of all, I wish that your goals in all aspects of life will be attained with much success. I hope that you will stay the same Cheeno Marlo all the time. I also aspire that you stay close to God, for he has been your ultimate guide and supporter, making you accomplish all the things that you acquire right now.
I constantly pray that you will stay happy, successful, and blessed, amid the tests of life that you might encounter. I’m sure God will help you throughout your life journey.
